Service Desk Administrator

Purpose of Position

As part of the Service Desk Americas Team, reporting directly to the IT Manager of Service Desk Americas and based out of our Sorocaba, Brazil office, the selected individual will be primarily responsible for supporting the desktop and laptops in the local facility and supporting the remote sites across the continent. Experience with MAC OS is a plus.  

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with members of the ATG IT team, Service Desk, internal and external users to address any and every IT support request assigned to the Service Desk team.
• Support Projectors, TV’s and Solstice devices in the conference and training rooms.
• AD accounts creation, editing, adding group membership and account maintenance.
• Exchange mailbox and calendar creation, mailboxes sharing and general maintenance.
• Create and maintain Cisco phones, Jabber and WebEx accounts.
• WMS (AS400) accounts creation and administration.
• Support Windows 10 on desktops and laptops.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot software (Adobe suite, WMS, Office suite, AutoCad, CreO)
• Provide local and remote diagnostics and technical issues relating to desktops, laptops, printers and other hardware using remote support tools (WebEx, TeamViewer, Jabber).
• Provide outstanding customer service to ATG associates.
• Maintain open and a constant line of communication with management to ensure all issues are address in a timely and effectively fashion.
• Support other IT teams on an as needed basis.
• Office/Cubicles (IT equipment) moves.
• Document and share with the team Solutions and Procedures.
• Perform all other related tasks based on the needs of the organization.             

Skills and Experience

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT; may consider of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Experience with current Windows Desktop Operating Systems Windows 10 preferred.
• Experience with laptops, desktops, printers and other related hardware.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office Suite (all flavors).
• Knowledge of MAC OSX and MAC hardware and support of these devices is desired.
• Experience deploying and managing desktops and laptops in a large facility, at remote locations and for remote users is strongly desired.
• Strong technical proficiency in the following areas: Windows 10, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Printers, Desktops and Laptops.
• Quick learner with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written English skills
• Driven by customer service and satisfaction.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and identify/communicate areas for improvement within existing workstation environment.

Essential level of Advanced / Fluent English for interviews and assistance to America´s countries.
